Remembering the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, “It is more blessed to give than to receive." -Acts 20:35
Special thanks to Johnnie Breakfield, Juanita Pauldon, Betty Moon, Lovie Holiday and Lenora Phelps for their sacrificial giving!
With increases in the price of gas, food and other expenses, we are all feeling the crunch. But, these women gave from their substance rather than their abundance--acting on the belief that their security lie not in material resources, but in God.
Like the Word says, what good does it do a man to give if he has plenty to give? It does not affect him in any way and he goes about his business. But the Lord reminds us that we are to be as the woman that gave her last mite. She had given all she had. She did not try to save it until a crisis occurred or hoard it thinking she might need it for a rainy day. She gave willingly her last bit of income. The Lord then blessed her over and beyond any of the others (overflow). God wants us to be like that widow who gave her last mite. He commands that we give sacrificially.
Our thanks again to Johnnie Breakfield, Juanita Pauldon, Betty Moon, Lovie Holiday and Lenora Phelps who gave from their hearts to help ease the pain of someone in need.

Giving draws our hearts toward Christ. Don’t forget to give back!
