During the month of December, M.E.A.T. paid for prescription medication for Sis. Mozelle Shepherd, a northeast Houston shut-in resident. What a wonderful time of fellowship and inspiration it was when the Founder and Alpha Team took time out of their busy schedules to minister to someone in need. A quick trip to CVS Pharmacy to purchase a month supply of medication, then back to sit and chat with the 89-year young, feisty Mozelle Shepherd. Her wit and cheer stirred the hearts of Lovie Holiday and Lenora Phelps as they sat and listened to a wealth of wisdom coming from this Christian woman of God.
Our sincere thanks to Juanita Pauldon, Johnnie Breakfield, Betty Moon, Rosalyn Wilson, Rosalyn Peterson, Millie Hall, Lovie Holiday and Lenora Phelps who contributed their money, time, toiletries and cleaning supplies to Lynette Denwitty. Always exemplifying a grateful spirit, Sis. Denwitty was blessed by M.E.A.T. earlier in the year with household furnishings.
Both Shepherd and Denwitty were very grateful for the outpouring of Christian love and generosity from the members of M.E.A.T. Ministries. As for M.E.A.T. this is just our reasonable service. We are blessed to be a blessing!
